Your Essential Document Checklist for Ashoka University

Application process can require a lot of documents! And we totally understand that sorting through piles of paperwork can be daunting. So, here’s a brief overview of all you need to know about the admission process at Ashoka University and a list of all the documents you will require.

The admission process is broadly divided into three stages:



The application and assessment stage includes filling the application form and attempting the Ashoka Aptitude Assessment and On-the-spot Essay.


While filling the application form, you will be asked to submit certain documents. The college application process will be really easy if you already have all the required documents handy. Start here with our essential document checklist and turn the chaos into clarity.


  • Scanned copies of school mark sheets: Scanned copies of your school mark sheets for classes X to XII are required. 

  • Consent letters: Consent letters from your parents are required. 

  • Recommendation letters: Recommendation letters from your principal are optional. 

  • Government ID: A photograph and a government ID are mandatory during submission. 

  • Haryana Resident Certificate (Domicile): If you are a Haryana Domicile applicant, you will need to submit your government issued Haryana Resident Certificate (Domicile). 

  • SAT/ACT/CUET scores: SAT/ACT/CUET scores are optional, but highly recommended. If you take the SAT, you should submit your scores using the SAT DI code 7343 to designate Ashoka University as a recipient. 




You will also be required to submit various documents to apply for financial aid and scholarships. After this you will have to mandatorily attempt the Ashoka Aptitude Assessment and On-the-spot essays.
